 Abstract

  The concept and plan for development of integrated learning for junior high school students through "Modeling" in Mathematics, Science and Technology in Japan are reported in this paper. This learning design is based on problem solving processes using system-oriented thinking and application in the real world. Students find, apply and evaluate mathematical models to technological problems using scientific knowledge in this learning.
